Mellow float in Paradise Valley / near Livingston.
Notes
- Check flow levels before going; early-summer runoff can be pushy.
- Gear: PFDs, leashes, dry bag.
Float options (put-in → take-out)
SUP times are rough and very flow-dependent — paddleboards drift slower than drift boats, and these are best at lower late-summer flows. Avoid the pushy May–June runoff.
- Carter's Bridge → Mayor's Landing (~6 mi, ~2.5–4 hr): mellow, ends right in Livingston. Best easy/beginner option. (This is the put-in/take-out currently pinned on this entry.)
- Pine Creek → Carter's Bridge (~7 mi, ~3–4 hr): scenic Paradise Valley; a bit more skill needed when flows are up.
- Mallard's Rest → Pine Creek (~3.5 mi, ~1.5–2.5 hr): short and easy, good for a half-day.
- Mallard's Rest → Carter's Bridge (~10.5 mi, ~5–6 hr): full-day option for a longer paddle.
All access points are FWP Fishing Access Sites with parking/ramps. Set a car shuttle between put-in and take-out.
