Gentle overnight up the Bozeman Creek (Sourdough) drainage to Mystic Lake — an old logging road with an easy grade, popular with bikers and hikers.
Notes
- ~9 mi one-way (~18 mi round trip), ~1,800 ft gain. Wide, gradual doubletrack most of the way.
- Trailhead: Sourdough / Bozeman Creek TH (parking + bathrooms) off Sourdough Canyon Rd.
- Campsites and water at the lake; the Forest Service Mystic Lake Cabin nearby is rentable via Recreation.gov for an overnight.
- Loop-out option via New World Gulch / Bear Canyon. Grizzly country — bear spray and proper food storage.
