Steep out-and-back to the summit of Baldy (~8,914 ft) at the south end of the Bridgers — a big, exposed climb straight up from the M.
Notes
- ~8.5 mi round trip, ~4,000 ft gain from the M trailhead; relentless climbing with a rocky, wind-exposed final ridge.
- Start early — little shade and afternoon thunderstorms are common up high. Carry plenty of water.
- Popular; the lower M section is busy. <1 hr from town (right in Bridger Canyon).
